Anthony Bourdain, the award-winning writer, chef and travel adventurer, was found dead while in France filming an upcoming episode of “Parts Unknown” for CNN. French chef and close friend Eric Ripert found Bourdain unresponsive in his hotel room Friday morning. He was 61.
Bourdain’s career took him from the Food Network to the Travel Channel to CNN. He won Emmy Awards and a Peabody for his work.
