Richard Harrison, who was best known as a co-star on the History Channel’s reality show Pawn Stars, died on Monday after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
“He was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool ‘Old Man’ as my dad,” wrote Rick Harrison, who also starred on the popular show. ‘He lived a very full life and through the History television show ‘Pawn Stars’ touched the lives of people all over, teaching them the value of loving your family, hard work and humor.”
The History Channel also released a statement on Harrison’s death, saying that he was “a beloved member of the HISTORY and @pawnstars family. He will be greatly missed for his wisdom and candor.”
Details on Harrison’s funeral services are still pending, and details will likely appear on the Gold & Silver Pawn store’s Facebook page.
