Cavs fans got some really bad news over the weekend.
Klutch Sports Group announced on Twitter that LeBron James will sign a $154 million, four-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. For the second time in a decade, LeBron will say goodbye to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The move instantly brings the Lakers back into relevancy while creating a massive problem for the Cavaliers. James, 33, had a tremendous 2017-18 season, leading the Cavaliers into their fourth consecutive NBA Finals.
The Lakers core will also feature Lonzo Ball, Kuzma and Brandon Ingram. Even after adding LeBron, LA has the financial resources to make another major investment.
