Lindsay Lohan Knocks ‘Attention-Seekers’, Says #MeToo Makes Women ‘Look Weak’

In an interview with The Times, Lohan had some controversial things to say about the #MeToo movement.

She claims that she never had any MeToo experiences worth mentioning during her own career in Hollywood. “I can’t speak on something I didn’t live, right?” Lohan asked, but then she went on to speak anyway. She said that she “can’t go along with the ‘attention-seekers’ or trial by social media.”

“If it happens at that moment, you discuss it at that moment,” she said. “You make it a real thing by making it a police report. I’m going to really hate myself for saying this, but I think by women speaking against all these things, it makes them look weak when they are very strong women.”

Social media backlash was exactly what you’d expect.
