Donald Trump, who has built an entire presidency around demonizing Hillary Clinton, was once a fervent supporter of her 2008 candidacy.
Stormy Daniels alleges that during her infamous “Shark Week” stay with Donald Trump in 2006, Hillary Clinton called while she was there and had a full conversation with Trump about the 2008 election pitting Clinton against Barack Obama for the nomination.
“He had a whole conversation about the race, repeatedly mentioning ‘our plan,’ but his attention kept going back to the sharks,” Daniels writes. It was in 2007 when Trump said the following about Clinton:
“Hillary Clinton I think is a terrific woman,” he said to Greta Van Susteren on Fox News. “I am biased because I have known her for years. I live in New York. She lives in New York. I really like her and her husband both a lot.”
Just goes to show you that the hate for Hillary Clinton was a manufactured political move that every one of Trump’s voters was conned into believing. Trump simply played to the lowest common denominator and got the results he wanted. Way to go, America.
