The Department of Justice is expected to release Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Thursday morning.
According to Justice Department spokesperson, Kerri Kupec, Attorney General William Barr will handle the release of Mueller’s report, that details what he found during his two-year-long Russia investigation.
The report is expected to be redacted.
Very few people have read the 300+ page report that AG Barr summarized in 4 pages on initial delivery. There will likely be political battles surrounding the redactions and Trump’s role (if any) in obstructing the investigation.
Trump’s camp has already claimed that the report exonerates the President from any wrongdoing. Congress is very keen to learn why Mueller did not make a recommendation on obstruction charges, although Barr’s summary admitted that “evidence” exists.
