It’s official, Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek has been cast to play the villain opposite Daniel Craig as 007 in the upcoming 25th James Bond film, which is now in production under the working title of Bond 25.
Returning Cast Announced, Along With New Cast Members
The launch news was streamed from Jamaica, where novelist Ian Fleming wrote all 13 James Bond novels.
Returning are: Ralph Fiennes as “M,” Rory Kinnear as “Tanner,” Ben Whishaw as “Q,” Naomie Harris as “Moneypenny,” and Léa Seydoux as “Dr Madeleine Swann.” New cast members also include Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik and Lashana Lynch.
Bond 25 is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, whose credits include the HBO series True Detective and Netflix’s Maniac.
