With a backdrop of the graves of American soldiers who fought and died on D-Day, President Donald Trump gave interviewer Laura Ingraham several harsh statements about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday.
The interview with Fox News, commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day, took a sharp turn when the President told Ingraham that Pelosi was “a disgrace” and “incapable of doing deals”.
He continued, saying she was a “nasty, vindictive, horrible person” in response to Pelosi’s reported statements earlier in the week during a closed-door meeting about wishing to see President Trump not impeached, but in prison.
Who Else Got Trump’s Fury Thursday?
Pelosi wasn’t the only name to come up during the D-Day interview. The President referred to Purple Heart recipient Robert Mueller as “Bobby Mueller”, and spoke about how President Xi would be pleased to see Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee. Biden recently made comments downplaying the threat that China could pose to the US.
When Pelosi was asked about Trump on Thursday, she refrained from comments, stating that the day was about remembering those who sacrificed their lives 75 years ago.
