Brittany Zamora, 27, a 6th-grade teacher in Arizona, admitted to having a continuing sexual relationship with her student after her arrest in March. Her confession follows a plea agreement offered by the state of Arizona.
The boy’s stepmother noticed he was ‘acting strangely’, closing his door at night and being secretive with his phone, so she installed “Sentry”, a parental monitoring system that allows her to see activity on his phone.
She was shocked to see notifications of her stepson texting that he wanted to have sex with someone, and the responses coming in as “I know baby”, “I want you every day”, and if she could have sex with him “all day long, I would”. She immediately went to the police.
12 Charges Filed
Initial charges against Zamora include nine charges of sexual conduct with a minor, one count of furnishing harmful material, and two counts of molestation of a child.
Friends of the victim report she asked them to be a ‘look out’ while the two had sex on school property during an after-school activity, and that she sent the 13-year-old multiple nude photos including one with her in lingerie.
Under Zamora’s current plea agreement, she could face up to 27 years in prison for her actions.
