Dog Photos on Beer Cans Provides the Perfect Recipe for Adoption

A beer company has started helping dogs who need homes by placing their pictures on beer cans. Fargo Brewing in North Dakota has chosen to help dogs in need of a little extra help to land their forever home.

The game-changing idea was to feature these dogs on the labels of their 6-packs.

    6 Homeless Dogs Walk Into a Bar…

Fargo Brewing Company has partnered with 4 Luv of Dog Rescue to help raise awareness for a unique group of dogs that are up for adoption. These pups have been dubbed “Oneders” as they need to be the only dogs in the home. Dogs that have been in a shelter for a long time or that were found as strays can sometimes be lacking in socialization skills and require being a solo family dog.

There are six of these special dogs featured on the company’s Original Lager. These dogs are currently unable to be placed in foster homes due to the fact that many foster families have multiple pups at home already.

Being stuck in the shelter can make a dog shut down emotionally and not seem as appealing to potential adopters. The longer they are there, the worse it gets.

Raise a Glass to Puppies and Pints

Beer and dogs go hand in hand as breweries have become a community for pup lovin’ patrons. What better way to bring awareness to a cause than to put smiling dog photos on each beer label? With the assistance of the brewery, this shelter has been able to bring to light these pups in need and secure donations to continue to care for them until they find their forever homes.

If you think you could open your home to a pup in need, be sure to contact 4 Luv of Dog Rescue. If you aren’t in the area or cannot adopt right now be sure to drop them a donation. Every dollar you contribute goes directly to helping care for these beautiful dogs.

Help drive awareness by sharing these dogs on social media as well to help them find the homes they deserve. Every good boy deserves a home for the holidays. Will it be yours?
