In a bombshell revelation, numerous US intelligence and military officials said encounters with UAPs – more commonly known as UFOs – occur “every day” and these craft have technology that far outpaces our own capabilities.
In a report aired on CBS News’ 60 Minutes on Sunday, several former US intelligence and military personnel made some shocking revelations about UAPs, formerly referred to as UFOs. The statements come ahead of an unclassified report the military is scheduled to deliver to Congress next month, the Daily Wire reported.
During a recent interview, Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said “frankly, there are a lot more sightings than have been made public.”
One of the most prominent figures interviewed was Luis Elizondo, who ran military intelligence operations worldwide for 20 years, informally headed the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). The program was tasked with collecting and analyzing anomalous aerial vehicles also known as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), what has previously been called UFOs.
“Imagine a technology that can do 600-to-700 G-forces, that can fly at 13,000 miles an hour, that can evade radar and that can fly through air and water and possibly space,” said Elizondo.
“And oh, by the way,” Elizondo continued, “[these craft have] no obvious signs of propulsion, no wings, no control surfaces and yet still can defy the natural effects of Earth’s gravity. That’s precisely what we’re seeing.”
Still, Elizondo was quick to add: “We’re not just simply jumping to a conclusion that’s saying, ‘Oh, that’s a UAP out there.'”
“We’re going through our due diligence,” Elizondo clarified. “Is it some sort of new type of cruise missile technology that China has developed?”
However, Elizondo admits some of what has been observed is unexplainable.
“Ultimately when you have exhausted all those what ifs and you’re still left with the fact that this is in our airspace and it’s real, that’s when it becomes compelling, and that’s when it becomes problematic,” Elizondo concluded.
Former Navy pilot Lieutenant Ryan Graves spoke to the veracity and frequency of UAP encounters while pointing out that whatever is being spotted out there is a security risk.
Grace was asked how often pilots are encountering UAPs.
“Every day,” Graves said. “Every day for at least a couple years.”
Graves added that US pilots speculate that what they are seeing defies known technologies and is likely to be one of three things: Secretive US technology, and adversary spy vehicle or something otherworldly.
Another former official who had access to top-secret government programs is Chris Mellon, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence under Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush and who also served on the staff of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Mellon believes the technology is not ours.
“So it’s not us, that’s one thing we know,” Mellon said. “I can say that with a very high degree of confidence in part because of the positions I held in the department, and I know the process.”
“The acceleration is beyond any, far beyond anything that we, that we’re capable of,” Mellon said. “There’s nothing we could build that would be strong enough to endure that amount of force and acceleration.”
